The stone and vine have shaped the landscape of Alsace’s wine region for centuries. Set off on a journey to discover this special heritage!

Three routes depart from the towns of Dieffenthal, Scherwiller and Châtenois on a voyage of discovery that sheds light on the area’s geology, history and winemaking heritage.

As you walk along the trails you will understand the close relationship that exists between stone and vine, one that lends the “Scherwiller” and “Côteaux du Haut-Koenigsbourg” AOC Communales their distinctive and unique aromas.

To better understand the influence that this terroir has on the wines be sure to call in at one of the winemakers!
