Château Sainte-Roseline received the “Exceptional Offer” prize of the Wine Tourism Trophies 2022 in the “Architecture and Landscape” category.

The Château, which has been an AOP Côtes de Provence cru classé since 1955, has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1980 and is now enjoying a burgeoning reputation.

Strolling down the famous path with its 200-year-old plane trees lining the 12th century cloister, visitors are transported to another world as they make their way to the Château’s private park. The fountains, flower gardens and contemporary works of art sprinkled across the vast property only serve to prolong the pleasure.

The apogee of the visit is the 11th century chapel that is the resting place of Saint Roseline, daughter of the lord of the estate. Renovated in 1994, the chapel is home to a mosaic by Chagall (“Le Repas des Anges”), stained glass windows made jointly by Jean Bazaine and Raoul Ubac, and sumptuous doors and a bronze lectern by Giacometti.
